Foxfire ~ Fox

One beautiful fall day in Craighurst, when the Ontario colours were at their peak, I photographed this gorgeous Thoroughbred gelding named Foxfire. Whether it's dressage or jumping, Fox is a very willing partner for Valerie Shaw.

He loves attention, apples and licorice. Fox enjoys his days off and likes to chill with the other horses at Whispering Winds stable. You might think at first glance, that this handsome 16.3 hh gelding is a youngster, but he is 15 years old! You can see more photos of this striking chestnut on the Horses section of my website.
