Santana of Avalon

This week's Horse of the Week is Santana of Avalon, another beautiful Paso Fino from Forest Gait Farm. Santana is a handsome 14.3 hh black bay gelding who will be 6 years old next month.

Santana is owned by Marijean Harris of Georgetown, Ontario. He was born at Forest Gait Farm and is out of Pachanga Sin Par (who also lives there) and by Alcon, a top ten stallion for many years. He is a handsome, confident, self assured horse with a "look at me attitude"!

He loves his treats and is always getting into mischief. Santana flys along the trails when he and Jeannie head out and they have put in hundreds of trail hours together!

Santana entered his first horse show last year at the 'Gaits at Caledon' show and won the Paso Pleasure Class and the Paso Pleasure Championship. He is showing off his first place ribbon in this photo.
